My work examines the qualities of a location that is other wise over looked in daily activity. There is a large amount of exploration throughout my photography. These transitions are found in people, animals, and objects in our environment, they then become amplified as we present these actions in a portrait setting.
Traveling to Thailand, I would find beautiful beaches with stunning sunrises that captivated me. I then relocate to other avenues such as the calming beauty of life under water. I slowly enhance these moments with the presence of brilliant color. Keeping with the rotation of nature, some of my other images are a presentation that the viewer is surrounded with the colors of Mother Earth. I carefully select qualities of the location that define the space's personality. From these qualities there becomes a dialog between real time and the viewer, as if they were existing in my travels. Being fascinated by different cultures, I hope to capture the definition of the location so that the imagery will always be a progressive moment behind its frame as I am a progressive photographer behind my lens.
While on the idea of collaborating with other artists, I decided to expand my wedding and portrait style of art as well. I have always took the photojournalistic approach to my photography and with weddings, it can make it so much more memorable. Bringing in other creative people like Jax and Valerie will help alter new ideas and add flare. Rochambeau Photography was formed just for that reason. These ladies have the flare to create unique and exciting images to cherish for a life time.
Continuing with other stages of art, I have been in contact with a variety of artists. This provided me with the privilege to collaborate with Downswing Production as we evolve our digital media skills and exhibit throughout the country. Downswing was formed to bring different craftsmen together to create visual mixed media that provokes the imagination.
